These terms govern the use of POSNXTGEN, a point-of-sale, inventory and billing platform provided by Karthik Information Technology ("we", "us"), by businesses and their staff ("you"). By creating an account or using POSNXTGEN, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
POSNXTGEN provides billing, inventory, reporting and accounting tools, and optionally lets a business send bills to its customers on WhatsApp. We may improve, change or discontinue features over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping login credentials secure, and for everything done by the staff you give access to. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use POSNXTGEN to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send spam or unsolicited messages, or to interfere with or gain unauthorised access to the service or other customers' data.
4. WhatsApp messaging
If you connect your WhatsApp Business account to POSNXTGEN:
- Bills are sent from your own WhatsApp Business number, and you remain the sender of those messages.
- You must obtain your customer's consent before sending them a bill on WhatsApp, for example by asking at the counter, and you must comply with WhatsApp's Business Policy and Commerce Policy.
- Meta charges for WhatsApp messages are billed by Meta to your own WhatsApp Business account, using the payment method you add there.
- Meta may limit, suspend or disable WhatsApp accounts or message templates under its own policies. We are not responsible for Meta's decisions, but we will help where we can.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through Razorpay at the prices shown when you subscribe. If a subscription is not renewed, access to paid features may be restricted until payment is made. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our cancellation and refund policy.
6. Your data
You own the business data you enter into POSNXTGEN. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy.
7. Availability
We work to keep POSNXTGEN available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Keep your own copies of records that are critical to your business.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose.
9. Ending use
You can stop using POSNXTGEN at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. After an account is closed, data is handled as described on our data deletion page.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will notify business accounts.
